The Fox is my mynd haiku.

i just tore a page from this ugly looking notebook. it is ugly because
it is full of equations which cannot understand, even if i try to
solve them till eternity. all fun and no maths made my college days
very beautiful and peaceful. as promised in the evening i will try to
write something if possible, a poem. being creative is good and i was
when i used to stay at my den in the extension loby of the great S.J.
Hall. walls of my room spoke it all. 80 No. is divine i think. dan
brown says that no. 1.618 is a divine number but my opinion differs
here, i think if there are any divine numbers they are from 77 to 96.
all other numbers are unholy and why they are unholy? very few can
understand and even less can answer this question. poor memory is a
bliss.

being creative is being spontaneous and vice versa is also true.

even at the dead-slow speed i feel as if my life is moving at
breakneck pace. each moment i die and live, die for nothing and live
that something would happen. even divine intervention can not save my
days now. i am a gone case. gone case is a kind of case designed by
the mad society of america. if you put something into that case it is
gone, that is why gone case the name. same is the case with me, my
father has put lacs of rupees in me and they all are gone.
now i have to give myself a break to read khalil gibran bhai and
should get inspired from his writing to write something on my own. as
scholar.google.com says, stand on the shoulders of the giants. let me
check it out if it is true.

(one hour reading)

now i am back. as i gone through few short stories the one that
inspired me the most tonight was THE FOX. it is all illusion, may be
because i am very hungry right now this story inspired me the most. a
very short story, as khalil said .....

THE FOX
a fox looked at his shadow at sunrise and said, 'i will have a camel
for lunch today' and all morning he went about looking for camels. but
at noon he saw his shadow again-and he said."a mouse will do."
how beautiful and true it is, i have experienced this thing so many
times before. hunger is an illusion. it is not the need of your tummy
but the gravity of your pocket that counts. if you havent ate for two
days but with money in your pocket you never feel hunger. ( i can not
say this about pehalwan, ha ha. but i think for baba it is true.) good
food and an empty pocket can never fulfill hunger. not my stomach
which is hungry but my mind.

so i have created a haiku, that is all i can do after this long
exercise of being creative, ha ha. it follows.

My(nd) Haiku:
Cold is this night, not stomach but my mind.hungry and confine.
this three lines are what i can do at the best. and this is what that
has changed my life tonight. but for tonight only. tomorrow evening i
shall be good old lazy saboo again. god save my day.

long live laziness, long live brotherhood. amen.

Hopeless baba, pathetic friends III

The "Hopeless Baba, pathetic friends" series is back. After spending few weeks in Phursatgunj, our hopeless Baba returns to Bangalore. Now, it's no secret that he is blessed with excellent memory. He takes only a week to remember what he used to do at his workplace. He gets a shock of his life when he finds out so many new people have joined his organization.

Destiny forces Baba's pathetic friends to look for some job in Mumbai. After struggling for weeks, they found some work. However, their problems didn't end. The salaries they earned from their jobs were not enough to support their lavish lifestyle. They also faced dangers of bomb blasts in local trains and heavy rainfall.

After Baba left, selfless Kharchu joined dirty Sabu in PG. The great being refused all the lucrative offers which came to his way, and decided to spend some more years in pursue of higher studies.

Life at standstill

Nothing has happened and nothing will happen. My life in B'lore is at standstill. It was difficult to start working again after coming back from Phursatgunj. It took me a week to remember what I used to do at my workplace. But, from next week the busy earnings period is starting. for the next four weeks, I will have to work very hard. Considering my lazy nature, It's going to be a difficult task. Never mind, I shall ovecome it. Well, it seems nobody is visiting our lazy blog these days. Sabu and Jose, the other two regular members of this blog, are also not posting anything new. I don't know what more to write. It's a beautiful Friday night. Birds are still sleeping and I am still on my desk.

My Dream

U know what saboo ur opinion poll are like that of the opinion polls of Indian media. All gas with no substance. Hhhehheheheh. I shall prove you wrong. First it was, whether, I will get married or not. Well, I am almost engaged and getting married is just a matter of time. Now, it is whether I shall survive this monsoon or not. Well that is a very easy question. I will survive not only this monsoon, but also the next 10 monsoons before I shall quite and move off to Kerala .
Well, speaking of Kerala, it reminds me of dreams unfulfilled and hopes renewed. I think, I shall write a poem on that …… just read this line

My Dreams

I shall go off to kerala
And a cabin there, in the country so wild
Lots of book, few friends
And a beautiful wife
Is what I dream off in the days to come?
I shall sleep in a hammock
With a book in my hand
And she in my arms
Two cats and few dogs
Is what I dream of in the days to come?

I shall go off to Kerala
And a cabin there, in the country so wild

The blue sky with its stars
Shall be my roof,
The wild trees with its wild fragrance
Shall be my wall.
The rippling of stream
The buzzing of bees
And
The cooing of the birds
Shall be my song

I shall go off to Kerala
And a cabin there in the country so wild

We shall lie there for centuries untold
For it is the place
The land of my ancestors
The land of my soul
The land of my dreams
The land that awaits my arrival.

I shall go off to Kerala
And a cabin there in the country so wild

Hi, Lazy friends of sportless heart and wasting mind ...

Well, like I said that I would post one of the love songs that I had written in my past life, well I am going to do just that. And only two people have the right to comment on it and they are --- Mehul and Gauravbhai, becuase they alone know and admire a romantic song in its full meaning. Bio-waste like his name sake, cannot admire a good loving caring and touching poem like the one written below. haahahaheheheoooo. The poem has been written by this lazy friend of yours in his bygone past, it tell the heart rendering tale of how he felt when he lost his one and only Girl Friend. Then, the ending is just his wishfull thinking that she had not left him for some more successful and, off courses, good looking guy but has died and gone to her heavenly kingdom, nice dream, na. Well, to cut the long story short the song is as follows.......

LOVE: LOST AND FOUND --- By Jose Joseph, aka, RobRoy2006

She came in my life like the visiting rays of the sun,
And turned my life like the morning sunshine.
Which begin with a sweet smile from her lips,
And ended with an arm around my neck.
I can never define th relationship between hers and mine,
For words can never catch the depth of our love.
Those blissful moment spend withe her,
Are part of my lonely life.
Which comes like the autum wind,
That cool's the cookles of my hear.
When the soft breeze fans my check,
It shall be her breath.
When the cool air throb my temple,
It shall be her spirit passing by.

And

Before she left for her heavenly kingdome,
She left behind a symbole of her love,
And, when I look at him,
It reminds me of a love,
Thats lost,
Yet, found again.

SCIENCE AND RELIGION

Osho says, “If Einstein had also been a Buddha, there would have been atomic energy but no atom bombs, and atomic energy would have become a blessing -- the greatest blessing ever. The earth would have become a paradise. But Albert Einstein is not a Buddha; unfortunately he knows nothing of meditation -- a great mind, but the master is missing; a great mechanism, a great airplane without the pilot.”

“I would like you to be enriched by Newton, Edison, Eddington, Rutherford, Einstein; and I would like you also to be enriched by Buddha, Krishna, Christ, Mohammed, so that you can become rich in both the dimensions -- the outer and the inner.”

Read on……

“THE VERY EFFORT TO RECONCILE THE POLAR opposites is wrong -- you will never succeed in it. It is like trying to reconcile day and night, it is like trying to reconcile life and death. You need not reconcile them; you have only to see that they ARE reconciled. Day and night are moving perfectly in rhythm; life and death are like two wings of existence.

Once you see that the polar opposites can't exist separately, once you have seen that reconciliation is not needed at all, that they are already reconciled, that awareness will help you to move from one pole to another without any problem. They are totally different phenomena -- polar opposites, but all polar opposites are also complementaries.

Science is concentration: it is mind, it is effort.

Meditation or religion is a totally different world: it is relaxation, it is let-go -- it is not concentration at all. It is not one-pointedness, it is no-pointedness. So how can you reconcile them? How do you reconcile work and rest? But you work hard in the day, and at night the rest comes of its own accord. You have earned it; your hard work brings rest.

The East has lived religiously -- that is one pole -- and because IT has lived religiously it has not been able to produce science. The West has lived scientifically, and because of its science it has lost track of religion. Now for the first time, the East is no more East and the West is no more West. The earth is becoming one: the earth is becoming one. global village. This is the time when the reconciliation can be seen, can be understood.

Man is entering into a new phase; a new consciousness is to dawn. For at least ten thousand years, as far as consciousness is concerned, nothing new has happened. There have been Buddhas and there have been Albert Einsteins, but we are still waiting for a Buddha who is also an Albert Einstein or an Albert Einstein who is also a Buddha. The day is coming closer and closer. Albert Einstein in his last days was very much interested in meditation, in religion. His last days were full of wonder. He said in his old age, "I used to think when I was young that sooner or later all the mysteries of existence would be solved, and I worked hard. But now I can say that the more we know, the more existence turns out to be mysterious. The more we know, the less we know and the more we become aware of the vastness...."

No way to go but in

In our mindless pursues we go here and there. What for? Nobody knows. However, those who have realized themselves say that there is no other way to go but in. Once we can touch the source within, all our wandering ceases. It's like coming home.

OSHO ON TERRORISM

BELOVED OSHO, I'VE HEARD THAT IN EUROPE THE THREAT OF TERRORISM IS STRIKING FEAR IN EVERYONE. AIRPLANES ARE DELAYED BY EXTRAORDINARY SECURITY MEASURES, MANY OF THE SEATS ARE EMPTY, AND SOME AIRPORTS ARE CLOSING. PEOPLE ARE EVEN THINKING TWICE ABOUT GOING OUT IN THE EVENING. AND ALL THIS IS MORE PREVALENT SINCE THE RECENT BOMBING OF IRAQ. IS THE RISE OF TERRORISM OVER THE LAST DECADE IN SOME WAY SYMBOLIC OF WHAT IS HAPPENING TO SOCIETY IN GENERAL?

Everything is deeply related with everything else that happens.
The event of terrorism is certainly related with what is happening in the society.
The society is falling apart.
Its old order, discipline, morality, religion, everything has been found to be wrongly based.
It has lost its power over people's conscience.
Terrorism simply symbolizes that to destroy human beings does not matter, that there is nothing in human beings which is indestructible, that it is all matter -- and you cannot kill matter, you can only change its form.
Once man is taken to be only a combination of matter, and no place is given for a spiritual being inside him, then to kill becomes just play.
The nations are irrelevant because of nuclear weapons.
If the whole world can be destroyed together within minutes the alternative can only be that the whole world should be together.
Now it cannot remain divided; its division is dangerous, because division can become war any moment.
The division cannot be tolerated.
Only one war is enough to destroy everything, and there is not much time left for man to understand that we should create a world where the very possibility of war does not exist.
