GARAM CHAI WITH GAURAV

Taking a break from humdrum life of Mumbai, I have made up mind to blog today. My life here has getting stable day by day. I think I getting accustom to daily work and traveling and weekend binges. I think my life is stuck in a rut. But, there is no time to relax. I have to be on the toes at work and make war-footing effort to meet my ends. How I am doing it..god only know. Energy seems to be floating in the air of Mumbai. I have never worked so hard in my life for any purpose or cause. I have been live life of privileged ones, now I realize. What made me come here sometimes I contemplate. But what is the point in thinking it. Actual point to ponder is what the hell I am doing in this world. Leaving aside the philosophical aspects of life I will discuss worldly matters. Sabu is now a ball of fire. His marathon writing and now what he has started posting colorful images and pictures is laudable. He speaks his mind and his mind speaks what has been written in all archaic books he has been reading all the time. But Blog is quite happening now. Anando Baba who likes to call himself Anando Rocks has gone in hibernation, once he was quite active and forthcoming. I think his LT is sick. It’s good to go on sabbatical when there is nothing worthwhile to write. I am again looking forward go on vacation with my oldies in Baroda. But Anando is silent in this matter. He was supposed to take leave in March but no communication further in this regard. I really don’t have any peg to write, I am drifting from one topic to another. Dr. R S has again rekindled his passion of Dictionary reading. Unlike us he is truly studious and laborious. He has all the qualities to become successful except will power. We are planning to buy a TV to watch the upcoming world cup. If we could get one, I hope till world cup there will be good TP. few days back I got strange news that Rajat ( my ex-classmate) was making fortune in KBC. I immediately rushed to the neighbor’s house to see the episode, but he was not Rajat. It was his brother Rakshit who was sitting on the hot chair. Both are twins and look similar. SRK was pretty impressed by his wealth of knowledge. He picked away 12.5 lakhs. Rajat made Special appearance through phone when Rakshit took his last lifeline(phone to friend option) and Rajat had as usual answered question correctly.

logging out....see u soon.

Legally Void

Yesterday we preferred to sit outside ISKCON temple and enjoyed a lot of tea outside than going to Gallops Mall and sitting inside. I always prefer to sit outside in open where I can find laaris around and unlimited supply of tea and cigarettes. Yesterday again we meet there at the same place and performed our daily rituals like senseless chattering and roaming around with full enthusiasm.
They all were there before I arrived but the most important character was missing. He is still in Ahmadabad and don’t want to go back to Phursatgunj before Thursday morning. He never attends theory lectures and always arrives late in the practical performance too. He is too old and too good for all this stuff and don’t need laboratory assistants’ advices who were his juniors. Yes, I am talking about the great Nikhil.
Ajay and Sinha were joking and laughing and Midhun also was in jolly mood when we started our discussions focused on Nikhil and his misadventures and also his true love for mobile phones and GPRS services. He told us that he will be there by ten at night. While Ajay and Midhun went to collect Midhun’s new spectacles from a nearby optician’s shop I and Amit had decided to go for a darshan of lord Krishna at ISKCON temple.
Sitting there outside on the edge of the highway and discussing enthusiastically what is and was the status of Christianity and Christ in world religion with Sinha was not as boring as one can imagine. We enjoyed discussions for good one hour and than decided to go to some restaurant named 4 FOOD. Food was good but little bit spicier than usual. It was nine thirty and Nikhil was not yet arrived.
After coming back to home at ISRO we decided to watch the highlights of the third and final ODI between Australia and New Zealand. We have heard in the evening that New Zealand crushed Australia again in this series. Australia’s No.1 position and rule over the world cricket is over now. We were both happy and excited to watch the highlights of the game on the TV.
Whole night I was there at ISRO. First we played snooker online with very little luck and even less skills. We only won one game out of almost ten we played and that too because we played so slowly that our opponent was tired and left the table before we can hand our cue. After that Ajay and Nikhil was not in very conscious state and neither they were asleep. Nikhil tried hard to keep his eyes open so that he can chat on Mig33.
The best thing about my night stay was online internet radio Sahaja-Yoga. Listening to this channel was real fun and I honestly enjoyed Brazilian music a lot on this radio channel. There are few more radio channels online like last.fm and musicindiaonline.com. As I have a real fast internet connection here in Ahmadabad, now I can listen to the online radio and that is something I really missed for quite sometime now.

at the end of the day bottomline is that I am enjoying my vacation In Ahmedabad, legally void and full of rest and sleep. summer hibernation really worked for me and want to practice this every year for next few years. Amen.

LAZY KIYA RE

I wonder why humans have progressed (worldly) and above all what they have derived out of it. Come and see life in Phursatganj and Pensionpura, people here are like king and live life at its fullest and is contemprory best. They enjoy life without bothering about modern gadgets, machines and new technologies. I am writing this perhaps because I have just came from Phursatganj so there is still a hangover. In my two weeks of holydays, two days stay in Phursatganj was most memorable one. The ambience of that place is intoxicating. The air has magic, which soothed my soul. I still relish the memory of KAKI's food, having delectable Parathas and mixed vegetables. Her tea was also like Nector. Unlimited Chach which we had there was also like Somaras. It was so nice to see our middle aged BUDDIES lazing for hours in the room watching OMKARA movie and having intense discussion various unproductive and irrelevant issues. I am looking forward to visit this place soon again. I hope we will gang up again in March 2007.

My Sleeping Pill.

My father was here today. On short notice as usual. I was fast asleep and kharchoo and nikhil was out for a cup of tea at masi's lari. First thing he told me after waking me up was that I should quit smoking now. I don't know when will i be able to stop smoking but I know one thing that I really enjoyed smoking a lot for few years now. It is 4:30 in the morning and I just lit another cigarette. I use laalu yadav's kulladhs as my ashtrays. Prophets Outcast, one toxic book , edited and introduced by Adam Shatz is a collection of letters and articles by famous jew personalities like Albert Einstein, Sigmund Freud, Isaac Deutscher and many more. It is my sleeping pill for quite few days now. I never met a single jew in my life but i think they are strangly interesting people and this is not my prejudice. In his letter to the editor of Filistin(newspaper) in 1931, Einstein says that semitic people of the region should live in harmony. He was against the new jewish settlement (Israel) in the region. rather, he says that, Jews and Arabs can live peacefully without Zionist wall between them (overenthusiastic day-dreaming). He criticized United States (where he found shelter) for that. Aah, i don't care wall or no wall, it is a good sleeping pill. Not going to make any change in phursatgunj. Though a few years back nice pictures of the wall were published in the National Geographic magazine. impressive photography by wandering zealots. Their few mega pixel camera give them a slight edge over my VGA. A narcist photographer i am. Now it is tea time masti. Bye Bye.

Where is the Great One ??

world is same as it was before 24 hours when i wrote about my picture hunt of gulshan baba. evolution is a long process and it is even slower in our beloved phursatgunj. though i have not done any physical labour, in my lazy life today was really a busy day. still i am not tired and can go atleast to sadali laari for an hour or so. i should not repeat the same nonsense again and again that it is very cold outside and winter is here now and kharchoo is fast asleep as usual. but as i cann't think anything beyond that i have to write it again here. unlearning is more difficult than learning new things. by repeating same thing again and again i sound raucous and rowdy to many who visit this blog more frequently now but that can not stop my nonstop nonsense. just like all my lazy friends i also have very poor memory and don't remember things which i have said. both learning and unlearning has taken its toll. the other day as my usual time-pass i was giving all kind of psychometric tests on few self-procalimed testing sites and the results were really funny. when i finished the test there was a note along with my score on it. even though my score was not bad but there were funny remarks that erupted volcanoes of laughter inside me. (though i can't laugh that loud because i don't want to conform my landlord's doubt that i am a madman.) they said that if i improve my memory powers my analytical capablities (which i think are not there) could be compared with that of the western philosopher plato. ha ha ha ha. but i don't take their advice seriously because i know that at this old age now my memory cann't cope with the fast changing techno-savvy knowledge based world around me. the only thing i like about the results is that they say i can be a good chess player as my visual analysis ablities are above average. whether i will be a good chess player or not that is going to be my favourite time-pass for rest of my life. i can not deny the offer to play that divine time killing game. the most active lazy man nikunj was here today and i played chess with him for 3 full hours. i know his limitations as a chess player but can not deny his love for this great game. our boodhi samarpan baba was also here and he visits my phursatgunj kholi more often now as his exams are over. nowadays he regularly goes for the evening kundalini meditations and also wants me to join him there in the evening. i am not only lazy but also an old man now. i can not support the ideas like going to dynamic meditations early in the morning but can go for kundalini at least. if he will be here i shall try to go to the meditation center at karelibaug in the evening.

enjoy of typing and now it is time for some tea. let's pray that gulshan baba is there. no more gulshan baba avatars as no graphics can catch his aura. 'Gulshan Baba ki kripa'

In search of Gulshan Baba

i am on a mission today. it is 4 30 in the morning and it is really cold out there but it is not going to stop me from doing something which is of the highest importance for me now. capturing gulshan baba in a picture. it is very dark outside and i dont know whether gulshan baba is there at sadali laari or not but that is not going to stop me from going to sadali lari now. i hope that i find gulshan baba and his auto there so that i can reproduce his images for our gulshan baba lovers here. he surely is one of those rare species and very difficult to find whenever you wish. but hope floats. inspite of all adversities and difficulties i shall go to sadali laari right now. kharchoo is fast asleep by now and mosquito hums can not disturb his divine sleep. he told me to wake him up when i go to sadali laari early in the morning. but i think now he is almost dead and about to miss a chance of the life time. my psyche says that gulshan baba will be there today and i don't want to miss this chance. until i find gulshan baba and post his picture here be happy with this avatar of gulshan baba.

I Love Gulshan Baba ! ! !

Gulshan baba, the great one is back in town. he is full of energy and totally charged now after a long break of one month. his rickshaw is of colour umber red, may be due to rust and dust. but he is alive and full of energy. a fanatic. true follower and a devotee. he defies all the criticism and popular opinion about him. O! great one i always knew that only a place like phursatgunj can nurture such a soul like yours. O! great one please part me from your curse if you don't like what i say about you. O! great one please forgive us, we lesser souls who can not understand your love and devotion for great gulshan grover.

yes yes yes, i am talking about the one and the only fan of great indian movie actor Mr. Gulshan Grover. our very own the bad man-gulshan grover always said that his competition is not with bollywood actors but with the hollywood ones. but no one understands him better than our Gulshan Baba. no one knows what his real name is, but it is of no importance now. enlighten ones often change their names and it is all symbolic. he doesn't much care about his rickshaw and his own body. he is so thin that if he decides to go to brazil and join the modeling industry there, he surely can give those brazilian super (thin) models a run for their money. but he doesn't care as he knows that he is not mere an object of flesh and bones. he is neither educated nor literate i guess, and may be that is why he is not corrupt also. his love and devotion is ture to the core. O! great one, with full respect, i again bow to thee.

great gulshan baba sometimes visits our sadali lari at 4:00am in the morning in search of passengers who are not there as a rule. but that can not stop his frequent visits to sadali lari as he atleast can enjoy a cup of tea if passengers are not there as a rule. it is winter now and temperature is really down early in the morning, but that can not stop him from coming to sadali lari. he has a picture of mr. gullu-the bad man inside his rickshaw and it is written on the back of his rickshaw: 'Gulshan baba ki Kripa' (Gulshan baba's blessings are always with you) even if i write a book about him that is not enough. i can not catch and convert his greatness into the words. even million blog posts are not enough, so here i stop and again bow to you O! great one.

P.S.
for all those international visitors who dont know about the great gulshan grover. a brief introduction.

my secret diaries.

sardarnagar kholi.
7:30 pm in the morning, August 21.

as the pale yellow sun emitted the first rays of light we were busy discussing what crows are talking about.they were also busy discussing ya-ya, na-na and kra-kra. i, umesh and chintan were there at kamatibaug early in the morning. i dont have to explain everytime that it was a beautiful monday morning and what birds were doing. it is a universal truth, birds are alwasy happy especially crows. they were also busy thinking-what this fools are doing here at 5.a.m. chokidar looked at our faces with both doubt and surety. doubt that we were not there for morning walk and surety that either way he was not concerned. his glance was enegmatic. after two full hours of ha-ha, he-he we came out and were on the roads of phursatgunj. this days phursatgunj looks like switzerland plus mud minus flowers. i was busy reading all the inscriptions on the wlls of EME temple later in the morning. they all were nothing but the numbers. 10th century, 8th century, 11th century. as i dont have anything to do i do such things which keep me busy and away from thinking. i read numbers and imagined why they are so many in numbers and how they communicate with each other. i walked a lot, joked a lot inside the EME temple though it is dangerous. all the time in the world and no money is a deadly combo. what am i doing this days? i take one full hour to dress myself, i study occult arts, read alvin toffler, explain what is siddhartha-the novel to umesh, take an hour to lock my room, a full one hour to finish a cuppa tea, listen to music, watch movies, and still i have so much time left after a full 12 hour of daily sleep. so just to kill time i decided that i should have an ablusion today, a long one. this was my first bath after the independance of india so i obviously prepared for it, bought a shampoo pouch and paper soap. it was indeed a great timepass inside so called bathroom at sardarnagar. it took me two hours to unload myself as i was gravid with my thoughts and good long bath forced the miscarriage of all my thoughts.

all the debris in my room at sardarnagar is now in great harmony. if you try to move a single thing and everything is going to collapse. burden on economy is now grave. inflation is uncontrolable and out of my control. my jeans and t-shirt never complain why i throw them like rubbish. i have everything in my room, everything a cheap aristocrate can afford. my room is more like an inn, people coming and going, leaving garbage behind and i dont care to move it. a cheap aristocrat can afford a bunch of CDs, a broken walk-man, all kind of bags and plastic bags and cases and suitcases and carrybags which he never uses, empty flavoured milk bottles, semi-empty ash trays, a bottle of water, insects, a reptile moving around the walls, books and magazines, a mobile phone and charger, earth pot, nightlamp which he cannot use, pillows, a lock and few thousand keys, grey-brown bed sheets, a pinhole camera, empty and full matchboxes, used match sticks scattered all around the room, sugar, salt, biscuits, wrappers of kurkure and parle-G, toothbrush he rarely use, few pens and notebooks, a set of audio-cassettes, ubuntu, tusnamica doll, chair and table, chess board and pieces, shoes and laces, carbon dioxide with a tint of oxygen, suffocation, and lot more.

my god, i am not a very possessive man but look at the things i have. most of this things are useless just like me, but i am so lazy to stand up and throw those things out of my room. i dont even need 0.005% of them all together. but that is cheao aristocracy after all.

now as i feel like tea i have to move my ass and should go to kalubhai's. i cup of tea plus four square is all that enlightens me at sacred place. they are like prasada. i hope umesh would be there on time so we can discuss all sort of nonsense and our near future. ha-ha, he-he and our evenings pass with joy and bliss, god bless us all. my mobile also needs some charging now but i will look after that some other time as i am in hurry, ha ha. today again i am going to watch the movie forrest gump for the fourth time in last fortnight. i shall tell you people about this great movie but some other time. i have to make a move now. bye.

Beloved Calling.

i am just about to turn off this computer after 5 days. this computer's hardware is now burning i think. it is on fire and my ass is also on fire. i am moving to phursatgunj today after a week in amdavad. now as it has stopped raining i hope i will have some good time at phursatgunj. umesh is there alone in phursatgunj now but as it is a weekend and he has no work to do i think we will go for a movie today if possible. most of the time i sleep at kalubhai's lari. people have day dreams but i should change that phrase as i dont think it is proper for me, i neither have night dreams. most of the time i dream during the evening time. so i have evening dreams. for last 4 days i have gather so much information about laziness. now i will research on this topic for one full month and will publish every thing on LAZICOPOEDIA. i am even thinking that we should have copyrights of this word. now as i have to catch the most laziest trains on western railways- the great MEMUs i have to move. in the night if possible i will talk to you baba. yesterday i went offlie when you posted that msg on cbox. i again was online but after 4 15 so i thought it is better not to start a chat at that hour. i was feeling very dizzy also. we will try to talk today as i will try to be there on time about 3 30 or may be 4 in the morning.
okey enough for today. good luck.

Life without Kalubhai's cuppa

What I miss most in life? Well, the list is endless. However, the first thing that comes to my mind is Kalubhai's chai. I wish I could fly to Baroda and sip his tea at this very moment. The endless chatter with lazy friends at Kalubhai's larri is what I miss most. I also miss my friends who have all the time in the world and are never in any kind of hurry. I just love ( platonic, mind you) them.
